The show ended and he flipped it back to MCN to see the beginning of Futurama. Some of the characters were traveling through the air tubes of New New York.

It takes hours to fly across the Pacific. It takes days to sail across it so those air tubes would probably be weeks. James would begrudgingly fly over the ocean but taking a boat seemed creepy and therefore was out of the question. Surrounded by all of that water, miles on every side and miles straight down. The Lusitania is sitting on the ocean floor right now, it was shot down by an enemy sub. No one ever confused an iceberg with a torpedo but in an ironic twist both accomplished the same feat. It would be nice to go to Europe, Australia or Japan but he had definite reservations about any such choice in the future and those reservations started and ended with all of that water.
He laughed into the empty room, hit the bong and wondered why he was thinking so hard about all of this malarkey.
